I wonder if Google will punish me for multi-posting

So, Blog It makes it really easy to post the same entry to lots of blogging services, which must, on some level, increase the total number of people who will see it. I wonder if Google is smart enough that if it finds the same basic paragraph on four different blogging services. On a moral level, if not technical, multi-blogging feels like spamming. I think the dream of the web is that for any piece of content, there is one definitive copy and everyone else just points/links/excerpts. Blog It weakens that idea.

Actually, it occurs to me that a Blog It 2.0 enhancement might be to have the whole post sent to your primary blog account, and have the secondary accounts just post excerpts with links to the primary. That might be a better way of handling cross-posting.
